Norman Rockwell lived here in New York during the Depression and painted a world that looked they it was supposed to be. Also, a bad Jackson Pollock could look truly horrendous, but a good one is great, don't ask me why... I had a (ridiculous) theory about why people like Mr. Pollock's painting on my blog.
